Visit of the “Crayères”
The “Crayères” are old chalk quarries, dug 2,000 years ago under the city of Reims. In 1768, Ruinart is the first champagne house to use them for the ageing of its bottles. Since then, our “Crayères”, listed as a historical site in 1931, are part of the house’s heritage.
Today, thanks to the Ruinart app, visit the “crayères” as if you were there. Thanks to the motion sensors of the installation, you can move your eyes at 360° and enjoy a fantastic digital visit of our “crayères”, punctuated with interactive content.
